Who we are

This site is operated by Balora Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Consultancies L.L.C, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. For any privacy question or request, contact hello@balora.ae.

What we collect

We collect only what we need. When you complete the Value Gap assessment we record your answers and the resulting scores. If you ask us to email your report, or you contact us, we collect the details you provide: your name, company and work email. We also record limited technical data to operate and protect the site, including a one-way hashed form of your IP address and basic, aggregated usage information. We do not knowingly collect special category data.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your information to send you the report you asked for and to respond to you, on the basis of your request and consent. We use anonymised, aggregated answers to build an industry benchmark, on the basis of our legitimate interest in research that helps organisations in the region, in a form that does not identify you. Where you have agreed, we may contact you about your result and related services, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. We use technical data to keep the site secure and working, on the basis of our legitimate interest.

The benchmark

Your individual answers are never published. They are combined with others and reported only as aggregate, anonymised figures by industry. The benchmark cannot be used to identify you or your organisation.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and send email, under contracts that require them to protect it, and where the law requires.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where it is, we take steps to keep it protected to an appropriate standard.

How long we keep it

We keep contact details for as long as needed for the purpose you gave them, and assessment records for as long as they remain useful for the benchmark, after which they are deleted or fully anonymised. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your information, object to its use, receive a copy, or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@balora.ae and we will respond within the time the law allows. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use essential cookies needed to run the site securely. Before you make a cookie choice, we record a basic, anonymous count of page visits that sets no cookies and stores no personal data, no name, no device identifier, and no IP address, so we can understand overall traffic to pages such as our home page. With your consent, we also use our own first-party analytics cookies to understand how the site is used in more detail and to improve it, for example which pages and campaigns bring visitors. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data. When you first visit, you can choose to accept analytics or continue with essential cookies only, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing your cookies. If you choose essential only, we do not track you.

Children

This site and the assessment are intended for professionals and are not directed at children.

We may update this notice. The date above shows when it last changed.
